Changing Multimedia Settings

While working with your multimedia devices, you may want to customize or change the way multimedia files work on your machine. For example, you may want to adjust the recording quality for audio or make Video for Windows files play back on the entire screen. The next sections take you through how to make these changes.

Audio Settings

While listening to audio clips or audio CD-ROMs, you might have noticed that the volume was too low. Or, you might want to decrease the recording quality of the audio clips you are making because they are taking up too much hard drive space. In either of these cases, you'll want to change the audio settings of your sound card.
