What is a Network?

Most networks consist of servers and clients, although some consist solely of workstations (called “peer-to-peer” networks.) Windows 95 is a client that can attach and share data with various servers—Windows NT, Novell NetWare, Microsoft LAN Manager, for example— and with a peer-to-peer network, such as Windows 95, LANtastic, or Windows for Workgroups.
