Accessing the Internet

Windows comes with Internet Explorer 3.0 that you can use for browsing the World Wide Web. Internet Explorer enables you to access Web pages, download files, perform searches on the Net, and more. The browser displays pages complete with images, links, and text. This lesson assumes your Internet is set up and ready to go.

Browser Any software you use to view the Internet; in this case, Internet Explorer.

Links Also called Hyperlinks, links are underlined text on Web pages that jump to other Web pages containing related information.
