Using Check Boxes

For options that you can select (activate) or deselect (deactivate), Windows and Windows applications usually provide check boxes. When a check box is selected, an X or a check mark appears in the box, indicating the associated option is active (see Figure 4.3; this figure is from WordPad using the Format, Font command.)
