Selecting Graphics

The procedure for selecting graphics depends on the Windows application you are using. In a word processing program, such as WordPad or Microsoft Word, you select a graphic by clicking the object. In a program like Paint, however, there are special tools for selecting shapes. Because the procedure may vary, you should refer to the instructions for each application. No matter how you select a graphic, however, when it's selected, small “handles” appear on the corners and sides of the graphic frame to indicate it is ready to be copied or moved.
