Copying and Pasting from the Command Prompt Window

You can select text or graphics in any application open in the Command Prompt window, and you can copy or cut it and paste it into another application or document. Using the copy and paste procedures, you can copy data from one MS-DOS program and paste it into another MS-DOS program or a Windows application.

To copy and paste data, follow these steps:
