Exiting an Application

You should always exit an application when you're done with it to ensure that your documents are saved before shutting Windows down. You can exit most Windows NT applications in one of the following ways:

  • Choose the File menu and then select the Exit command.

  • Click the Close button (X), located in the upper right corner of the Title bar.

  • Choose Close from the Control menu, located in the upper left corner of the Title bar.

  • Double-click the application's Control menu icon.

  • Press Alt+F4.
