Lesson 17. Printing with Windows NT > Controlling the Print Job

Controlling the Print Job

It's hard to control just one or two jobs because they usually go to the printer too quickly. However, if there are several jobs in the queue, you can control them. For example, you can pause and resume print jobs, and you can delete a job before it prints.

To be completely fair to other users, Windows will not let you mess with other people's print jobs. If you share a network printer, you can control only your own print jobs (unless you have full control access).
