Moving or Copying Files or Folders

The time will come when you will want to rearrange files and folders on your system. For example, you might need to move a file from a folder of word processing files to a folder of files related to a particular subject. Or, you might want to copy files you've created into a folder to which certain other users have access. Windows NT provides you with two methods for doing this: menu commands and drag-and-drop.

Before you begin moving or copying files, take these warnings into consideration:
