Configuring Applications for Shared Access

Because only one session is normally used in Remote Administration mode, applications do not need to be configured for shared access. But applications must be configured for shared access if using Application Server mode. If applications are installed prior to activating Terminal Services, you will receive a list of applications that should be reinstalled to achieve proper configuration.

Applications can be configured for shared access automatically during installation. There are two ways to configure applications for shared access during installation:
