Installing and Configuring Terminal Services

Terminal Services can be installed in one of two modes: Remote Administration mode or Application Server mode. Remote Administration mode supports only two concurrent connections, but does not require the purchase of Terminal Services Client Access Licenses. It is primarily designed to allow system administrators direct access to Windows 2000 Servers. Application Server mode provides remote execution support for "thin client" devices.

To install Terminal Services in Remote Administration mode, follow these steps:
