Sharing a Printer

When you share a printer, all users on your network can use the printer. This means a single printer can serve all the computers in your home or office. When you use the Add Printer Wizard to install a new printer, one of the wizard’s pages asks if you want to share the printer with other network users. If you’re still in the process of setting up a printer, select the Share Name option and, optionally, modify the name that Windows suggests, as shown on the next page.
