Going Straight to Any Web Address

Before you can jump to a page by entering its address, you must find the place in your browser provided for typing addresses. The term used to describe this area varies from browser to browser, but to keep things simple, I'll just call it the address box. Figure 19.4 shows the toolbar area of Internet Explorer, with the address box containing an address.
