Task: Using and Adding Favorites in the Explorer Bar

Let’s examine some of the default favorites and make a few of your own:

1.
Click the Favorites tab in the explorer bar on the left side of the window. When you do, a new pane appears, as shown in Figure 10.2. This pane contains the same list and functions as the Favorites menu in the menu bar.

Click a folder to expand it so that you can see all the favorite sites in it. Notice that a favorite has an @ icon to its left and a folder has an icon of a folder.

3.
Click one of the listed favorites. The main pane on the right changes to show the page you’ve chosen.
