Process Viewer

In Hour 1, “A Tour of Mac OS X,” you learned about force quitting an application from the Apple menu. The Process Viewer application is similar to the list of applications shown in the Force Quit dialog box, but it contains information on all the system’s processes, including any command-line UNIX software that’s running. Figure 22.6 shows the Process Viewer display with the disclosure button at the bottom clicked.
