Part: IV Multimedia > Capturing Images and Video and Using Windows Movie Maker

Chapter 28. Capturing Images and Video and Using Windows Movie Maker

In This Chapter

Windows XP Professional allows you to capture video and audio from many different sources. You can also capture still pictures from a traditional scanner or digital camera, and you can even download pictures from the Internet. Many of you still using film cameras already know that some developers will give you a floppy disk with digital images of your roll of developed film. Some make them available online for download. In this chapter, we will briefly touch on adding an imaging device such as a camera and then walk you through producing your first movie file using Movie Maker.
