Part: II Desktop, File Management, Gener... > Configuring Accessibility Options

Chapter 5. Configuring Accessibility Options

In This Chapter

Windows XP Professional provides a number of features that help enable users with disabilities to unlock the full potential of their machines. Although we have not yet reached the Star Trek level of computer sophistication, the options discussed in this chapter can be used to make computers more accessible to a wider range of users, even those who are not functionally disabled. For example, the Magnifier is a useful option for those with or without visual impairment, since it can provide an enlarged view of any part of the desktop. You may find this useful when viewing images in an application.
