Are There Any Graphical SSH Clients for OS X?

As of this writing, there is no native OS X graphical SSH client. To use SSH in OS X, you will have to learn the command-line SSH tools. Hopefully, as OS X becomes more widely used, more native OS X applications will be developed. Whether they are SSH products or other types of applications, be certain you let the software companies know that you are interested in having native OS X applications on the market.

In the meantime, you might be wondering how the graphical SSH clients work as Classic applications in OS X. Unless you enjoy the thrill and excitement of seeing a machine-with-floppy icon with a question mark, we recommend that you do not even try it. We had a particularly bad experience with the F-Secure SSH 2.1 client running as a Classic application. We have not experimented with the freely available SSH clients running as Classic applications.
