wget

wget

wget Downloads files and Web pages via HTTP or FTP.
w [-options] [URL]

wget is the fastest and easiest way to download files from a URL directly to your system. Given a properly formatted http:// or ftp:// URL, wget will download and retrieve an individual file, or multiple levels of files from the given location.
-r Recursively retrieves files from the given URL.
-l <#> When recursively retrieving, limits the depth of the download to a given number (for example, -l 5 retrieves five layers of links deep within a Web site).
-k Converts Web page links from absolute to relative during the download process.
-m Mirrors the URL locally.
-A <extension list> Retrieves only files with the listed extensions.
-R <extension list> Does not retrieve files with the listed extensions.
-D <domain list> Retrieves files from only the listed domains.
-L Follows relative links only.
-H Follows links to remote hosts.
-I <directory list> Retrieves files from the listed directories.
-X <directory list> Excludes files from the listed directories.
-nh Does not perform DNS hostname lookups.
-np Only descends into a directory heirarchy. Does not ascend to the parent directory.
