Q&A

Q1:How can I get e-mail from my multiple Internet accounts?
A1: If you subscribe to multiple online services or to multiple ISPs, you can set up Outlook Express to send and retrieve e-mail from all your Internet accounts. Select Tools, Accounts to display the Internet Accounts dialog box. Select Add, Mail and follow the wizard to add your accounts to the e-mail. You will almost surely have to contact your ISP to get the wizard's requested information. After you set up the accounts, Outlook Express will check each one when you request new mail.
Q2:I read a newsgroup message last month that I can no longer find in the newsgroup. How can I see old messages?
A2: Often you cannot. Each news server holds a limited number of messages. (Your news server has only so much disk space!) Often, Outlook Express downloads, at most, 300 messages at any one time. Sometimes, the server will have more than 300 messages available. To request that Outlook Express retrieve additional messages, select Tools, Get Next 300 Headers. If more than 300 messages are available, Outlook Express will download up to 300 more. By the way, you can change the number of messages that Outlook Express downloads, from 1 to 1,000, by changing the number from the Tools, Options menu item on the Read tab page in the News section.
