Exiting an Application

You should always exit an application when you're done with it to ensure that your documents are saved before Windows shuts down. You can exit most Windows applications in one of the following ways:

  • Choose the File, Exit command.

  • Click the Close button (X).

  • Choose Close from the Control menu.

  • Double-click the application's Control menu icon.

  • Press Alt+F4.
