Lesson 10. Using WordPad > Formatting a Document

Formatting a Document

You can affect the appearance of your document onscreen and on paper by changing the formatting. Formatting refers to the appearance of a document, including the font style and size, text alignment, and page layout.

You can format text before or after you type it. To format text before you type it, choose the formatting attributes and then enter the text; the formatting continues until you change it again. To format text after you type it, select the text you want to change and then apply the specific formatting changes.
