Conventions Used in This Book

To help you move through the lessons easily, this book uses the following conventions:

Onscreen text Onscreen text appears in bold type.
What you type and items you select Information you type, commands, options, and icons you select, as well as keys you press appear in bold color type.


In telling you to choose menu commands, this book uses the format menu name, menu command. For example, "choose File, Properties," means "open the File menu and select the Properties command."

Plain English
