Moving a Window

The title bar displays the name of the program being used by the window, as well as the name of the current active document. The supplemental function of the title bar is as a handle of sorts. To move a window onscreen, click and drag the window's title bar. When you move a window in Windows 98, the contents of the window follows your movements. If you want to switch back to the Windows 95 method (which displays only the window outline as you move), right-click the desktop, select Properties, click the Effects tab, and turn off the Show window contents while dragging option.

Caution

You can't move a window that's been maximized. There's no place for it to go.
