Using the Calculator

Windows 98 comes with a handy calculator you can use to calculate anything you need, from balancing your checkbook to adding up the latest sales figures (see Figure 20.1). You'll find the Calculator on the Accessories menu. Using the Calculator is remarkably similar to using a regular pocket calculator: Use the + button to add, the – to subtract, / to divide, and * to multiply. To clear the last entry, click CE or press the Delete key. To clear a calculation completely, click C or press the Esc key. To compute the final value, click = or press the Enter key.
