Controlling the Print Job

When you send a document to the printer for printing, it's placed behind any other documents that are already waiting to be printed. You can reassign the order of printing, cancel a print job, or pause the printer while you change the paper.

When you view the print queue, as shown in Figure 22.2, each document is listed, along with its print status, owner, number of pages, and the time and date that printing was initiated.
