Using Windows Explorer

Windows Explorer is not much different from My Computer, as you can see from Figure 10.2.

As just mentioned, Explorer contains a folder hierarchy (the All Folders list) that you can use to jump from one drive or folder to another. There is another difference between My Computer and Explorer: Explorer lets you use the Tools | Find command (Find is also available on the Start menu) to search your computer or the network for a particular file or folder. (My Computer makes the Find command available only in its main window.) You'll learn how to search for files and folders in Lesson 13, "Creating, Deleting, Renaming, and Finding Files and Folders."
