Adding Color and Fill

The lower-left corner of the Color Box, shown in Figure 18.2, contains two overlapping squares. The upper square indicates the foreground color, and the lower square determines the background color. In Paint, the foreground color is used for the outline of the object you draw, and the background color is used for the fill (that is, if you choose to draw a filled object). To change the foreground color, click a color in the Color Box. To change the background color, right-click instead.
