About the Author

Jennifer Fulton is a computer trainer, consultant, and best-selling author of over 50 books covering many areas of computing, including DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows 95, and Windows 98. Jennifer is a self-taught veteran of computing, which means that if something can happen to a computer user, it has happened to her at one time or another. As a computer veteran, Jennifer brings what's left of her sense of humor to her many books, including: Big Basics Book of Windows 95, Netscape Navigator 6 in 1, Ten Minute Guide to Excel 97, Big Basics Book of Office 97, Easy Outlook, Big Basics Book of PCs, Computers: A Visual Encyclopedia, 20th Century Computers, and How They Worked (The Official Starfleet History of Computers). Jennifer began her writing career as a staff writer for Alpha Books, a former division of Macmillan Computer Publishing, before escaping to the life of a freelance author. Jennifer lives in Indianapolis with her husband, Scott, who is also a computer book author. They live together in a small home filled with many books, some of which they have not written.
