Summary

This chapter continued your look at Windows 98 and the Internet by showing you how to wield Windows 98's built-in Web browser: Internet Explorer. After showing you how to get Internet Explorer, I took you on a tour of the screen. From there, you learned some basic browsing techniques, including how to create Internet shortcuts, how to use the new Explorer bars (Search, Channels, Favorites, and History). You also learned how to customize Internet Explorer, and I ran through each of the settings available in the Internet Options dialog box.
