10.8. Allow other users to dial into your computer to access network resources

You can configure your computer to allow incoming callers to access just your local resources (folders and printers shared on your computer), or you can allow them to also access the LAN and resources located there. The only difference in terms of how you configure the connection is a single check box in the connection's properties. Enable incoming connections as explained in the previous section, omitting steps 9-11, which disable access to the LAN and limit connections only to your computer. By default Windows 2000 allows pass-through access to LAN resources for incoming connections.
