You can change Media Player’s appearance by applying design schemes called skins. Each skin offers the essential controls—Play/Pause, Stop, Previous Track, Next Track, and Volume, and the usual Minimize, Maximize, and Close buttons—but skin appearance and features vary. Some skins link to visualizations or include playlists and audio controls; play around to see which skin has what.
To apply a skin
1. | Choose View > Skin Chooser. |
2. | Select a skin from the list (Figure 10.12). Figure 10.12. A preview of the skin appears in the right pane. Some skins are a triumph of form over function; it may take some hunting to find the Play button and other controls. |
3. | Click Apply Skin on the toolbar (or press Alt+A). |
