QUICK WAY TO ADD WORDS TO YOUR DICTIONARY

If you're typing a message in Mail and run across a word that should be in your Spell Checker's dictionary (such as your name, your company's name, etc.), you can quickly add it to your Mail dictionary (then it will recognize the name in the future, instead of flagging it as misspelled). Here's how: When you come to a word you want added to your dictionary (such as the name “Kelby,” which seemingly should be in every dictionary, but sadly is not), Control-click on the word and choose Learn Spelling from the pop-up menu. Now it's added, and it will no longer be flagged as unrecognized (unless you misspell it).
