TextEdit: COPYING PARAGRAPH FORMATS

Another typography tool usually found in page-layout applications and full-powered word processors is paragraph styles. Instead of the font-format copying we talked about in the previous tip, in this instance you'll be copying the paragraph formatting (first line indents, justification, tabs, etc.). To do this, highlight part of the paragraph that has the formatting you want, then press Control-Command-C to copy that formatting. Then switch to another paragraph, highlight that paragraph, and press Control-Command-V to paste that formatting onto this paragraph.
