SEARCHING THROUGH YOUR HISTORY

If you want to quickly find a site you've visited recently, just click on the Show All Bookmarks icon on the left side of the Bookmarks Bar, and then go to the bottom of the Bookmarks dialog where you'll find a Search field. To limit this search to just the visited sites in your History, click on the word “History” in the Collections list on the left side of Safari's window. Now enter the name of the site you're searching for and the results will appear. You can search your Bookmarks folders the same way—just click on a folder in the list on the left.
