HOW TO KEEP YOUR RESIZED MOVIES LOOKING CRISP

Images (moving or otherwise) are made of pixels, and images look best at their original size. If you resize them to even multiples (like 150%, 200%, etc.) or shrink them in size (to 30% or 50%), they still look pretty crisp and smooth. However, if you resize them to odd sizes (like 67.7%, 82%, or 129%), these images tend to a look a little jaggy (you Photoshop users know what I mean). Well, in QuickTime 7 you can just grab the corner of the QuickTime Player window and drag it to any size you'd like. So, is there a trick to making the window “snap” to sizes that make your movies look their best when resized (like 50%, 25%, or 200%)? Yup. Just hold the Option key, click on a corner, and start dragging, and as you drag it will snap to those ideal sizes.
