REMOVING THE DASHBOARD ICON FROM THE DOCK

If you find that you're always using the F12 key on your keyboard to bring up Dashboard, there's not much reason to keep its icon down in your Dock, just taking up space. The easy way: You can drag the Dashboard icon from the Applications folder down to the Dock like you can with other apps.
