TWEAKING YOUR VIDEO IN QUICKTIME PRO

If you have Apple's QuickTime Pro installed (rather than just the standard QuickTime Player), you have more video-tweaking controls than you might have thought. Open a movie, then press Command-K, and a host of Video Controls will appear at the bottom of your QuickTime screen, including controls for Brightness, Color, Tint, and Contrast. To increase any of these values, just click right on the horizontal bar and drag. To move to the next setting, click the tiny gray up/down arrows to the right of the adjustment's name. When you're done, save your movie and your changes are saved right along with it.
