SCSI Ports

SCSI (pronounced scuzzy, not sex y) stands for Small Computer Systems Interface, which is a standard for connecting personal computers to peripheral devices and having them send information to each other.

There is only one SCSI port on older Macs, but there are two on the back of every SCSI device, which are things like scanners, extra hard disks, external CD drives, or CD writers. The ones on the device itself might look different, much larger, from the one on the back of your computer.
