ATM and Mac OS X

Many of us are accustomed to using Adobe Type Manager (ATM) to make PostScript fonts look clean and smooth on the screen. In Mac OS X, the font rendering on the screen and to the PostScript printer is taken care of by the system so you don’t need to install ATM. In fact, Adobe is not updating ATM or ATM Deluxe, the font manager, for OS X.
