Applet Launcher

Applet Launcher is an application that enables you to run a Java applet in an HTML file without using a Web browser.

To open a Java applet with Applet Launcher

1.
Open the Applet Launcher icon in the Java folder (Figure 2) inside the Utilities folder to display the Applet Launcher window (Figure 90).

Click the Open button and use the dialog that appears (Figure 91) to locate, select, and open an HTML file containing a Java applet.

Enter the complete URL for an HTML file containing a Java applet in the edit box (Figure 92) and then click Launch.

The applet loads and starts. Its interface appears in the Applet Viewer window (Figure 93).
