Chapter 11. Using Mac OS i-Applications > Obtaining the Latest Versions - Pg. 353

353 Chapter 11. Using Mac OS i-Applications Using Mac OS X i-Applications Desperate for a short chapter title, I use the term i-Applications (or i-Apps) to apply to a number of additional applications that are available to Mac OS X users: · iTunes enables you to play CDs, record music from a CD to your hard disk, burn music CDs, or download music to an iPod or other MP3 player. · iPhoto enables you to store, organize, and share digital photos. · iMovie enables you to create your own movies, complete with transitional effects, subtitles, and voiceovers, from digital video clips. · iDVD enables you to take movies created with iMovie and burn DVDs. This chapter covers the basics of each of these applications--just enough information to help you explore them on your own.
