Chapter 11. Using Mac OS i-Applications > Using Mac OS X i-Applications

Using Mac OS X i-Applications

Desperate for a short chapter title, I use the term i-Applications (or i-Apps) to apply to a number of additional applications that are available to Mac OS X users:

  • iTunes enables you to play CDs, record music from a CD to your hard disk, burn music CDs, or download music to an iPod or other MP3 player.

  • iPhoto enables you to store, organize, and share digital photos.

  • iMovie enables you to create your own movies, complete with transitional effects, subtitles, and voiceovers, from digital video clips.

  • iDVD enables you to take movies created with iMovie and burn DVDs.
