Chapter 30. Windows Control Panel > Date, Time, and Language and Regional Optio...

Date, Time, and Language and Regional Options

Fortunately, Windows lets you change the time on the clock and in Windows XP you can now automatically set it to one of the atomic clocks (accurate to within a fraction of a second) over the Internet. You can even have Windows synchronize the clock weekly, so it's never far off.

You can also use this area to change the date and the language that XP displays and set certain regional options, such as the way numbers, dates, and currency are displayed. If you are using your PC primarily to write to people in another country, you might consider making that country's regional options the default.
