It's Not As Tough As You Think

You don't need to know how a computer works; you just need to learn how to use it. It's like a radio, TV, VCR, movie projector, or any other piece of equipment. When you turn on your TV, you don't think about picture tubes, vertical hold, or broadcast frequencies. If you want to, you can learn about the those things, but you don't need to in order to enjoy your favorite show.

Like a TV, the PC is just the box that plays the programs. With a VCR, you play videotapes. With a PC, you play application programs or software and access the Internet.
