Hyperlinks

As I mentioned in Chapter 49, one thing that makes the Web so powerful is its use of hyperlinks, or links, which let you move from one Web page to another just by clicking the link with your mouse.

Looking at a Web page, you should be able to spot the links easily. Hyperlinked text is usually set in blue and underlined, though Web page designers can choose any color and style for their links, even graphics. Most designers want to make their links stand out, so they are usually set in some obvious contrasting color.
