The Bottom Line

Confused yet? I'll make it simple: If you can afford it, seriously consider an LCD monitor. They're very cool. If you decide on a CRT, you can still get a quality display system—look for a noninterlaced Super VGA monitor and display adapter, with a dot pitch of .28 or below. If your PC comes with an AGP port (it probably does), so much the better. It might not do you any good, but there's no harm in it and, hey, maybe you'll discover a cool 3D game or two.
