Getting XP on a New Machine

To be honest, the easiest and most reliable way to get Windows XP is to buy a new machine. New machines are designed with XP in mind, and when manufacturers install XP, they make sure it has all the drivers and other software it needs to work with your new hardware.

If you do buy a new PC, chances are pretty good that it will come with Windows XP. But, just to be sure, ask the salesperson or check the company's Web site to see what comes with the machine.
