QuickTime

The QuickTime preferences pane enables you to set options that control the way QuickTime works. The pane's options are broken down into five tabs:

  • Plug-In (Figure 66) controls the way the QuickTime Plug-in works with your Web browser.

  • Connection (Figure 68) enables you to specify a connection speed for downloading and playing QuickTime content.

  • Music (Figure 71) enables you to specify a music synthesizer to play QuickTime music and MIDI files.

  • Media Keys (Figure 72) enables you to add, modify, or remove keys for accessing secured QuickTime media files.
