Applet Launcher

Applet Launcher is an application that enables you to run a Java applet in an HTML file without using a Web browser.

To open a Java applet with Applet Launcher

1.
Open the Applet Viewer icon in the Utilities folder (Figure 1) to display the Applet Launcher window (Figure 14).

Click the Open button and use the dialog that appears (Figure 15) to locate, select, and open an HTML file containing a Java applet.

Enter the complete URL for an HTML file containing a Java applet in the edit box (Figure 16) and then click Launch.

The applet loads and starts. Its interface appears in the Applet Viewer window (Figure 17).
